Wash broccoli rabe.
Chop into 1" pieces.
Squeeze chx sausage out of casing.
Clean and chop portobello mushroom into 1" pieces.
I was weird and decided to use the left over pasta I had in my cupboard (half a pound of elbows [left over from my easy mac n cheese guide] and a half a pound of angel hair). Any pasta works though!
Follow directions on pasta box and boil. When there's 5 minutes left, add the broccoli rabe.
When done, drain.
In the same pot add the sausages, minced garlic, and evoo. Cook till sausages are done.
Add mushroom. Add the salt and crushed red pepper. Mix well.
Add the drained pasta and rabe into pot.
When thoroughly mixed, serve.
Add Parmesan cheese.
Enjoy while hot!
