Use a plantain that is completely yellow and starting to get black (like a ripe banana).
Cut off tips and score down the back of the plantain to easily remove the skin.
Slice evenly. Slices should be between a quarter inch and half inch thick.
Heat pan to medium-high and makes sure your plantains sizzle when you put them in.
Flip when golden brown.
Serve while warm. These make a great side dish or healthy dessert. Enjoy
