How to Make Epic Roasted Garlic Bread

  • 1 Head of garlic
  • 1 Loaf of French bread
  • 1 Stick of butter
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Pinch salt
  • Aluminum foil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375

    Step 2

    Cut the heel off the head of garlic, leaving all the cloves together in one bunch.

    Step 3

    Place the cut head in the center of a square of aluminum foil and drizzle with the olive oil.

    Step 4

    Bring the corners of the foil together and pinch together. Place the garlic in the oven for 60 minutes.

    Step 5

    Slice the bread.

    Step 6

    Let the garlic cool slightly, then gently squeeze the cloves out.

    Step 7

    Chop the cloves coarsely. They will be quite soft, and may simply mash into a paste. No worries.

    Step 8

    Using a fork, mix the garlic into the butter along with a pinch of salt (to taste)

    Step 9

    Spread the garlic butter liberally onto each slice of bread. Place the slices on a baking sheet.

    Step 10

    Place the baking sheet in an oven set to broil on high for 3-5 minutes, or until desired toastiness is reached. Eat it while it's hot, man!
