How to Make Egyptian Pickled Tomatoes

Great side dish with a kick

Supplies

  • 3 ½ Tablespoons Salt
  • 12 Tomato
  • 1 ½ garlic head
  • 1 Bunch Parlsey
  • 3 Cups white vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons Black pepper
  • ½ Green pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Press the garlic

    Step 2

    Chop the parsley very finely

    Step 3

    Bunch of parley, very finely chopped

    Step 4

    Chop the green pepper

    Step 5

    Add white vinegar and mix everything together

    Step 6

    Add spices

    Step 7

    Squeeze the lime

    Step 8

    Step 9

    Wash tomatoes

    Step 10

    Cut the tomatoes in 4 starting at the top

    Step 11

    Dip the tomatoes in the marinade scooping the solids

    Step 12

    Voila! Enjoy your tomatoes as a side dish or an appetizer.
