How to Make Eggless Cookie Dough

  • ½ Cups Butter
  • ¾ Cups Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • ½ Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Chocolate chips
  • Water
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Take a 1/2 block of frozen margarine and put it in the microwave for 15 seconds, or until it is softened, NOT melted.

    Step 2

    Perfect :) I like to mix my cookies with arm power 😜 but you can mix it in a mixer if you prefer.

    Step 3

    Add 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar and cream together!

    Step 4

    It should look like this. If the butter is the proper consistency, this step will be no problem to mix by hand.

    Step 5

    Add 1 cup of flour and 1/2 tsp of salt. Some people might find the salt to be too much, so you can try to add a pinch at a time. I like mine to have lots of flavor, so I added it all!

    Step 6

    Add 1 Tbsp of vanilla. Again, vanilla and salt are just to enhance flavor. I want the most out of my treat, so I added it all. Try 1 tsp at a time for vanilla if you don't want it so strong.

    Step 7

    And 1 cup of chocolate chips! I'd prefer to use milk chocolate chips, but semi sweet was all we had :( oh well, it still tastes amazing!

    Mix mix mix! It should look somewhat like this.

    Step 9

    Now here's the kicker. Since there's no eggs, we need to add water. Add a Tbsp of water, and mix. Keep doing that until you have the consistency you want! I found 1 was plenty.

    And there you have it, safe-to-eat cookie dough! Yum! 😋

    Store into a container and stick in the fridge until you're ready to eat! I'm gonna snack on it throughout the day :)

    WARNING: do NOT bake this. They will not rise properly. I've heard that you can also make these into truffles, which if you ask me, would taste incredible! Enjoy!
