How to Make Easy Lemon Bars

  • 1 Box Lemon Pie Filling, prepared
  • 1 Box Angel food cake mix
  • Icing sugar
  • 2 Egg yolk
  • ⅓ Cups Cold water
  • 2 Cups Boiling water
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    This is pretty much all you need. To prepare the pie filling you need 2 egg yolk, 1/3 cup cold water, and 2 cups boiling water (follow box directions)... OR use 1 can of premade lemon pie filling. :)

    Step 2

    Add lemon mix, 2 egg yolk, and 1/3 cup cold water... Mix Til smooth.

    Step 3

    Add 2 cups boiling water... Mix well. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

    Step 4

    Keep stirring.

    Step 5

    Once it starts bubbling, stir 30 more seconds.

    Step 6

    Add angel food cake mix to bowl.

    Step 7

    Pour lemon mix over top.

    Step 8

    Mix very well.

    Step 9

    Until it looks like this.

    Step 10

    Pour into baking tray.

    Step 11

    Smooth out evenly.

    Step 12

    Bake at 350'C for 20 minutes.

    Step 13

    Should be slightly browned when done.

    Step 14

    Immediately sprinkle with icing sugar.
