Spray your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. If you use a liner like me, spray the liner.
Open the cream of chicken soup.
Mix the soup and butter together.
Add milk and stir.
Add onion flakes. Stir.
Add cheese. Stir.
Sprinkle with black pepper.
Measure one cup of corn flakes.
Pour into a ziplock bag and crush flakes using the back of your measuring cup.
Stir flakes into mixture.
Add frozen tater tots to crockpot. Pour sauce on top of tater tots.
It will look like this.
Measure and crush another cup of corn flakes.
Spread flakes on top of tater tot mixture.
Cover crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours until top is browned.
It should look like this when it is done.
