How to Make Cookie Dough Truffles

Cookie dough lovers, gather round.


  • 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ Cups Granulated Sugar
  • ½ Cups Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • ½ Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ¼ Cups Flour
  • ½ Teaspoons Salt
  • ½ Cups Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 4 Ounces Baking Chocolate
  • ½ Teaspoons Coconut Oil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather your ingredients.

    Step 2

    In a large bowl or stand mixer, add your sugar.

    Step 3

    Add your brown sugar.

    Step 4

    Add your butter. Beat until smooth.

    Step 5

    Add milk.

    Step 6

    Add vanilla. Mix until combined.

    Step 7

    Add salt.

    Step 8

    Add flour.

    Step 9

    Mix on low until thoroughly combined.

    Step 10

    Mix in your mini chocolate chips. Cover final product with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

    Step 11

    After 30 minutes, your dough should be firm enough to roll into 1 inch balls. Place the dough balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Place back in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm.

    Step 12

    Place chocolate and coconut oil in a medium bowl and melt in the microwave, melting and stirring in 30 second intervals. Remove a few balls from the freezer at a time and coat in chocolate.

    Step 13

    Be sure to tap off any excess coating and put back on the wax paper to set. Stick them in the freeze for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
