How to Make Cookie Dough Filled Cupcakes

Supplies

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can of frosting of your choice
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Put your flour in your mixing bowl

    Step 2

    Add your sugars, eggs, salt, butter, baking soda, and mix!

    Step 3

    Fold in chocolate chips and roll cookie dough into teaspoon sized balls and let them freeze over night.

    Step 4

    Mix your yellow cake mix, water, canola oil, and 3 eggs.

    Step 5

    Line your cupcake tins and fill your liners up about 3/4 way

    Step 6

    Place your frozen cookie dough ball into the middle of the cake batter.

    Step 7

    Next, pop those into the oven for roughly 16-18 minutes. Be careful not to overcook.

    Step 8

    When done take them out and let cool! 😎

    Step 9

    Once they are cooled off frost them with what ever frosting you desire, I chose chocolate.

    Step 10

    They should look a little something like this. They should be a bit doughy on the inside.
