How to Make Chocolate Reindeer Cookies

A simple guide to make Chocolate Reindeer Cookies for Christmas.

Supplies

  • 1 Cup Butter, softend
  • 1 ½ Cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 ¼ Cups All purpose Flour
  • ⅓ Cups Baking cocoa
  • 2 Teaspoons Cream of tartar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ Teaspoons Salt
  • 16 Ounces Bag of miniture pretzels
  • 12.60 Ounces Bag of Holiday M&M's
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, cream of tarter,baking soda & salt. Add gradually, add to cream mixture & mix well.

    Step 2

    Divide dough into 8 portions. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

    Step 3

    On a lightly flowered surface, roll each portion into 6 inch circle

    Step 4

    Take the 6 inch rolled dough and cut with acorn shaped cookie cutter

    Step 5

    Place about an inch apart on baking sheet covered with parchment

    Step 6

    Have children press in mini pretzels for antlers

    Step 7

    Have children press in 2 green M&M's for eyes

    Step 8

    Have children press in 1 red M&M for nose

    Step 9

    They'll enjoy being able to make the Chocolate Reindeer Cookies

    Step 10

    After your Reindeer are made put into oven for baking

    Step 11

    Bake at 375 for 8 minutes

    Step 12

    Let them cool for 1 minute ...and then Eat!
