Shred potatoes and put in bowl.
Add in 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper.
Add in 1 tsp of garlic powder.
Add in 6 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.
Add in 3 tbsp of corn starch and mix.
Add in 3 eggs and mix well.
Shape the mixture into small cakes and place on oven sheet.
Bake potato cakes at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Flip cakes over after 10 minutes.
Ingredients: 8 cups of shredded potatoes/hash-browns, 3 tbsp of corn starch, 3 eggs, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 6 ounces of shredded cheese, 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper.
