How to Make Cheese Balls

Supplies

  • 250 Grams Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Egg white from large egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 50 Grams Plain flour
  • 100 Grams Irish Cheddar cheese or Gouda cheese cheese
  • Vegetable Frying oil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Finely & carefully grate Parmesan cheese in a food processor.

    Step 2

    Add 25g plain flour

    Step 3

    Add 1tbs of cream cheese

    Step 4

    Like so..

    Step 5

    Add one large egg white, black pepper & chilli powder into the mixture in food processor

    Step 6

    Mix it all up,then scope it out of the food processor and knead it.

    Step 7

    Wrap it in cling film

    Step 8

    Place it in the refrigerator for an hour!

    Step 9

    chop Gouda cheese/ Irish cheddar cheese into cubes.

    Take the Parmesan dough out of the refrigerator and use 1 tablespoon measurement to scope out the dough.

    Roll it with your hand

    Step 13

    Make a dent with your thumb

    Step 14

    Place a cube of cheese inside the dent then roll it with your hand to make a round shape.

    Step 15

    Rest of 25g flour goes on a tray to roll the cheese balls, cover them with flour.

    Deep fry it in frying oil on medium heat

    Step 18

    When golden brown, remove them.

    Step 19

    The cheese inside should be runny like so..

    Be creative and make your own flavours. I made chilli cheese & mushroom cheese balls. Serve it with your favourite dips.
