Any flavoring that you use for baking can also be used for a latte. I happen to like vanilla, so one capful of vanilla goes into my coffee cup. I also like stevia - but you can use anything (or not)
Pour your 1/2 cup of milk into the coffee cup along with the flavoring and into the microwave on high .........
......for 30 seconds. I know it shouldn't make a difference, but adding cold milk to coffee just doesn't produce the same results.
I thought this gadget was the biggest waste of money - UNTIL I received one as a present. Look for them in big box retailers or online and pick one up. Whisking by hand works too and is free.
Move the wand up, down and around. You want to introduce air into the milk.
Now comes the easy, hard, cheap, expensive part. If you have a personal cup coffee maker-brew up a cup of espresso OR Make a cup of coffee at a ratio of 3 coffee to 1 water manually. Your choice !
I know a "barista" would throw me out for calling this a latte. But it is better than paying $7 for a real latte. This I can make at home WHENEVER the mood suits me. Enjoy w flavored creamers too!
