How to Make Caprese Pops

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • White balsamic vinegar
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Cut a circle in the top of each cherry tomato and scoop out the insides.

    Step 2

    Cut cheese sticks into small portions that would fit inside the tomato.

    Step 3

    Take a small basil leaf and wrap it around the bottom of the cheese stick. If you really like basil, you can add several leaves.

    Step 4

    Stuff the mozzarella and basil inside the tomato. Repeat for each tomato.

    Step 5

    Drizzle oil and vinegar over the top of the tomatoes. I usually pour each into a spoon, then drizzle from the spoon (more precise, less mess!)

    Step 6

    Serve and enjoy!
