How to Make Buttered Chicken & Chickpea Stew

Supplies

  • ⅓ Cups Finely chopped Carrots
  • ¼ Cups Chopped onion
  • 1 Clove garlic crushed
  • 1 Cup Chopped cauliflower
  • 2 Tablespoons Grape seed or similar oil
  • ½ Teaspoons Chili powder, curry, turmeric, celery seed,
  • 1 Can chick peas
  • 1 Can diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons Black strap molasses
  • 1 Tablespoon Agave syrup
  • 1 Diced chicken breast
  • ⅔ Cups Plain no fat yogurt
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Heat over medium heat: Oil, cauliflower, carrot until cooked through

    Step 2

    Crush garlic, add

    Step 3

    Add spices

    Step 4

    Add black strap molasses, chicken

    Step 5

    Add drained chick peas, tomatoes

    Step 6

    Mix and heat through

    Step 7

    Add cilantro

    Step 8

    Add syrup

    Step 9

    Step 10

    Add yogurt

    Step 11

    Heat thoroughly and serve as a stew or you can serve over cooked brown rice or a whole grain pita.
