How to Make Buttercream Frosting

This is the super easy, fast and definitely delicious recipe for buttercream frosting! Hope you enjoy!


  • ½ Cups Of unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Of vanilla extract
  • 2 Cups Of powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Of milk
  • 3 Drops of food coloing (Optional)
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    First soften your 1/2 cup of butter

    Step 2

    Then cream butter till it's light and fluffy (like shown in the image above)

    Step 3

    Then gradually start beating in the 2 cups of powered sugar

    Step 4

    When you're done it should look something like this

    Step 5

    Then add in the teaspoon of vanilla extract then beat together

    Step 6

    Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk then beat together for an additional 3-4 minutes.

    Step 7

    When you're done the frosting should look something like this. Add food coloring if you want to.

    Then Frost and decorate your baked good!
