How to Make Bruschetta

Delicious garlic bread topped with tomatoes and Mozzarella cheese.

Supplies

  • 1 Loaf of French/Italian bread
  • 8 Plum tomatoes
  • 1 Cup Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 Cloves of garlic
  • 8 Ounces Mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ Cups Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Basil
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley
  • ⅛ Teaspoons Sugar

    Measure 2 Tbs of Parsley

    Step 3

    Measure 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.

    Step 4

    Measure 2 Tbs of Basil.

    Step 5

    Measure 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese.

    Step 6

    Measure 1 cup of Olive Oil.

    Step 7

    8 cloves of garlic.

    Step 8

    Measure 1/8 tsp of sugar.

    Step 9

    Preheat broiler to high.

    Step 10

    Cut bread in half lengthwise.

    Mince garlic into small pieces.

    Mix minced garlic with olive oil.

    Step 15

    Spread SOME of the mixture on the bread.

    Step 16

    Once bread is adequately covered with mixture, there should still be some leftover.

    Dice the tomatoes.

    Mix olive oil mixture with tomatoes.

    Step 20

    Add parsley, basil, and sugar to mixture.

    Step 21

    Add Parmesan and stir it into the mixture.

    Spread mixture over bread.

    Step 23

    Top it with mozzarella cheese and place bread onto a cookie sheet.

    Step 24

    Broil until cheese is bubbly.

    Step 25

    Cut into smaller pieces and enjoy!
