How to Make Brown Butter Sea Salt Chocolate Chunk Cookies

These delicious cookies are the perfect combination of sweet and salty!

Supplies

  • 2 ¼ Cups All purpose flour
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Baking soda
  • ¼ Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 ¼ Cups Brown sugar
  • ¼ Cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 Large egg yolk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Cups Chocolate chunks
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until brown bits form on the bottom and it gives off a nutty aroma.

    Step 2

    Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit

    Step 3

    Sift the flour, baking soda, and the salt together.

    In a mixer, mix the butter and sugars until fully combined.

    Step 6

    Add the egg, yolk, vanilla, and the Greek yoghurt.

    Add the dry ingredients slowly until fully incorporated

    Add your chocolate chips!

    Place on a sheet with parchment paper and push some sea salt onto the top. Bake for exactly 10 minutes.
