How to Make Bourbon Spiked Apple Cider

Supplies

  • 1.50 Ounces Bourbon
  • ¾ Ounces Lemon juice
  • 1 ¼ Cups Apple cider
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Anise
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather your ingredients. Here we have lemon juice, Four Roses Bourbon, unfiltered apple cider, lemon wedges, ginger, cinnamon, anise, and bay leaves.

    Step 2

    Take the ginger, blend it with water, and strain it so it becomes ginger juice. Add to the apple cider according to how spicy you like it.

    Step 3

    Take a hand full of anise, cinnamon sticks, ginger juice, and two bay leaves and heat them in a pot with the unfiltered apple cider according to your taste.

    While it's heating, add your Bourbon and lemon juice to a mug.

    Once it's heated, fill your mug with hot cider.
