How to Make Blueberry Porridge

A perfect autumn or winter breakfast. Gives you a real energy boost!

Supplies

  • 50 Grams Spelt flakes
  • 200 Milliliters Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Raw sugar
  • ½ Pinches Salt
  • 50 Grams Frozen blueberries (+ extra for the topping)
  • Milk
  • Dried apricots
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Serves 1.

    Step 2

    To a pot add spelt flakes...

    Step 3

    ..water, sugar and salt.

    Step 4

    Simmer 5 min. Stir every now and then.

    Step 5

    Remove from the heat..

    Step 6

    ..and add the frozen blueberries. Put back on the stove and simmer another 5 min. Stir every now and then.

    Step 7

    If too thick or sticky add a little bit of water.

    Step 8

    When ready the blueberries have dissolved and the porridge has a wonderful color.

    Step 9

    Serve with milk, some extra blueberries and perhaps (soaked) dried apricots.
