Add berries & lemon juice into sauce pan , bring to a boil . The lemon juice will bring out the juice in the berries

Add sugar, mix well , make sure ALL of the sugar is dissolved and bring  to a boil. Boil without stirring for 15 minutes .  Meanwhile place a glass plate in the freezer ( you'll need it later )

Once the 15 minutes are up , turn burner off , remove plate from freezer . Place a spoon full of jam on the plate , let cool , with your finger check the texture of the jam.

If it's not quiet ready continue to cook and recheck. Pour into airtight container or jars . If using jars,after filling , put jars into boiling water and let sit until the top pops .

After cooled , label with date  Will last at least 12 months  Store in a cool dark place until ready to use , refrigerate after opening  And enjoy a summertime favorite all year :)
