How to Make Beef & Veggie Stir Fry

Easy beef stir fry

Supplies

  • Frozen Vegetables of choice
  • 1 Garlic Clove, Minced
  • 1 Ginger stalk, Minced
  • 1 Red Onion, Minced
  • 500 Grams Beef Steaks
  • Black Pepper
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Ingredients

    Trim Onion and discard outer shell.

    Step 3

    Cut into half rings

    Step 4

    Cut steak into 1cm strips (I bought thin steak, you can use thick steak or mallet the steak out)

    Step 5

    All the beef strips done.

    Step 6

    heat a frying pan with enough oil to cover base.

    Step 7

    add 1 stalk of minced ginger

    Step 8

    add 1 clove of minced garlic

    Step 9

    add onion.

    Step 10

    cook until translucent and starting to caramelise.

    Step 11

    Add desired vegetables.

    Step 12

    Stir through and turn down to low heat. Leave this for a while.

    It will start to look like this.

    Whilst the veggies are still frying, get a large pot and add enough oil to cover the base.

    add the steak strips

    Season with Pepper

    Step 17

    Stir pepper through and cook until brown.

    Add sesame oil, about 1 tbsp

    Step 20

    This is how the veggies are now.

    add the same amount of sesame oil to the veggies. Turn up the heat a bit.

    Once the veggies are brown and caramelised, add to the beef

    Add soy sauce to the beef. Can also add honey for a honey-soy stir fry flavour.

    Give it a good stir

    This is enough for about 3 serves
