These are the ingredients. A delicious healthy stew for any occasion.
1 pound beef stew cut in cubes.
Chopped up garlic and onion.
Spices: Salt, peppers, tumeric and dry mint if you don't have 1/4 cup fresh mint.
Cut up celery
Place olive oil in pan, brown onions, garlic and beef.
Add a dash of tumeric, salt and pepper and cook on high heat for 5 minutes until meat is nice and brown.
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
Add parsley and mint.
Add lemon juice, three cups of water and celery to beef. Place lid on pan and cook on medium heat for one hour. Stir occasionally and add a cup more water if needed.
Absolutely delicious and nutritious. Serve with rice.
