Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Use vegetable oil or cooking spray to oil the muffin pan.
Sift all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl.
Mix bananas, white sugar, canola oil, brown sugar and 1 egg together in a separate bowl.
Then mash the bananas and add them to the mixture of white sugar, canola oil, brown sugar and the egg.
Fold banana mixture into flour mixture until mixed.
Scoop the batter into the muffin pans and place them in the oven.
Bake until muffins spring back when lightly tapped in the middle, 14 to 16 minutes. Then take them out of the oven, and let them cool off on the cooling rack.
