Step 1: Place bacon in a large deep skillet
Step 2: Cook bacon over medium heat until brown
Step 3: Drain, crumble, and set aside the cooked bacon
Step 4: In a stock pot, or a Dutch oven melt the margarine over medium heat
Step 5: Whisk in flour and gradually stir milk into the melted margarine until it's thick
Step 6: Stir in potatoes and onions into the mixture and bring to a boil. Then stir frequently.
Step 7: Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Simply peel the potatoes.
Make your bacon!
Now, crumble your bacon!
Cut your potatoes into small circles. And then cube them. (Remember to be careful when using a sharp knife!)
Turn stove on medium heat and place margarine in your pot.
Pour flour into pot and whisk the margarine and the flour until thick.
Pour 7 cups of milk into the pot and whisk until thick.
Chop your onions into cubes.
Once the mixture is thick and creamy, add in the potatoes and green onions.
Add the cheese, sour cream, bacon, and pepper. Your soup is done! Enjoy!!!
