Add drops of Minx inks to the paper and spray with some water if needed.
When dry, add stamped images and some color with a watercolor pencil as shown.
a close-up ...
Here I chose for a green and blue Minx Shimmering inks.
Here you can see the structure of the canvas paper and how the colors blended.
I chose to use the same stamps (from Magenta) and also colored it with a watercolor pencil
a close-up again!
Third background: drops of Minx inks were dropped on cardstock that has some stamping with gesso on it from tulips (Magenta stamp).. the gesso resists the color a little bit....
When dry, add the outlines with a pigment marker and color to the flowers with watercolor pencils.
Stamp some script in the background with grey ink.
A close-up again!
Card number 4! I pre-stamped the paper with white acrylic paint and let it dry. Drop Minx inks onto the cardstock and mist with water.
Add black with a pigment marker to the flowers and color with a watercolor pencil.
Add text to it, by heat embossing in white.
A close-up of card number 4!
White heat embossing resist on this card. Heat emboss flowers in white, and color it with the Minx inks by dripping a few drops to the cardstock and mist with water to make the colors blend and run.
I LOVE the effect of the shimmer here!
Add some outlines to the image with a pigment marker, and stamp a script in the background with a grey ink.
