Gather your ingredients and grab a clean container that will hold about 6 cups.
Put yeast and salt in the container.
Add the lukewarm water.
Add flour and then stir.
Make sure to get as much flour incorporated as possible.
Set the lid on top. Do not seal down. It will explode if you do. Set aside for about two hours.
This is what it looks like when risen. You can pull some off now and bake or put in fridge for later. You can use it up to 1 week.
When getting ready to bake, dust top with flour.
Grab a handful and either cut it or pinch it off. About 1 lb of dough.
Shape quickly and flour surface and let rise while oven is preheating.
Slash as desired.
Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let cool completed before eating!
You can make any shape you want. If you want sourdough, don't clean container before reusing. You can also make baguettes by using wet hands instead of flour. Shape into baguette shape.
