How to Make Apple Pancakes

  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 grated apple
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 85g sugar
  • 3/4 of a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 egg
  • 250ml milk or buttermilk
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Put the flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and mix.

    Step 2

    Add the grated apple and stir.

    Step 3

    Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in the milk the add the egg.

    Step 4

    Pour the egg and milk into the dry ingredients.

    Step 5

    Whisk into a thick batter.

    Step 6

    Heat some oil in a pan then fry spoonfuls of the batter until each side is golden brown.
