How to Make an Italian Quiche

Supplies

  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 ½ Cups Heavy cream
  • 1 Cup Chopped Leeks
  • ½ Cups Grated Pecorino Vheese
  • ¼ Cups Grated Asiago Cheese
  • 1 Pinch Salt and pepper
  • 1 Pinch Herbs De'Provence
  • 1 Pinch Nutmeg
  • 1 Refrigerator Pie Crust
  • 1 Cup Chopped Chard
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Butter
  • ¼ Cups Chopped ham
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Pre bake crust at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.

    Step 2

    Sauté leeks with butter. Mix egg, cream, spices, chard and cheeses.

    Step 3

    Pour leeks on cooked crust (I added some chopped ham).

    Step 4

    Pour in egg mixture. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 45 minutes.

    Step 5

    Let cool five minutes before serving. Mangia.
