Use either heavy cardstock or light chip board and cut out arch with a Spellbinders Die.
Before you remove the die, use an X-acto tool and cut around the interior of the die shaped arch.
You want to keep the outline and can put the solid middle piece aside for another project.
Repeat the previous steps 7-10 times depending on the thickness of your chipboard / cardstock.
Cut one more die shape but do not cut out the interior. Stack and glue your outlined arches together with a strong liquid glue. You can sand the edges slightly to even up if you need to.
Using the Couture Collection from Graphic 45 cut out a patterned background using the arched die and glue to the solid base you had previously cut.
Paint your arched boarder/ outline with Gold Smooch.
Dab Black Soot Distress Crackle Paint randomly around and blend with your finger leaving some of the gold paint peeking through in place. Once dry, glue to your base and start to decorate the pin.
Fussy cut out images from the Couture Collection and mount with foam tape to the interior of your pin.
I fussy cut out the heart flourish and then added rhinestone around to create a jewel.
Add a pin back to the back of your pin and any other embellishment you might like. I added a chain with a Graphic 45 key dangling off and a pearl.
These make great gifts for any occasion and any of Graphic 45 detailed paper collections could be used to change up the theme of your piece.
