Select a 12x12 sheet of Graphic 45 Paper- here I am using Sweet Sentiments and your Score Board. If you don't have a score board just use a ruler to make your measurements and folds
Cut your paper with the right side facing you into 3- 2.5 inch strips and 2- 2 inch strips. Then cut the 2 inch strips in half- you will only need three of these. 1 sheet of paper will make 3 boxes
On your long strips, score on the back side at 3, 5,7, and 9 inch marks. If using a ruler just make a tiny dash with a pencil and make a small fold at each measurement- dont fold down hard-just crease
On the smaller strip, score at 1 3/4 inches in from each edge
Now fold as shown at the scores. The scores higher up on the larger pieces do not need to be folded at this point, they just help the box bend later.
Take a Xyron tape runner and attach the smaller strip inside of the larger strip (you can use glue too)
Cut a strip 9 Inches long of Washi Tape
Starting in the back (on the back your image will be upside down) Center the tape and run it around the outside keeping it nice and even
For best results keep the smaller inside strip to the inside of the bigger strip- after I tape it I even press the sides in a little to keep them towards the inside
Now join the tops together and punch two holes for your ribbon
Fill with yummies! Or even a cute scented candle as a gift would look super cute!
Tie the top with ribbon. here I use some from May Arts
Finished! But that's just the simplest way to do these boxes! But wait there's more!
How about corner punching the tops?
Or a fabulous Fiskars Border Punch?
Or a nice little Circle Punch...
You can use all kinds of stickers or chipboard from the coordinating Graphic 45 collections to further decorate
This one has the Circle hole punch
This is the simple one. I Hot Glued on a Petaloo Flower for extra decoration
You can fill with anything...and the reverse side of Graphic 45 Papers adds extra design dimension
How great will these look at your next party? So fun and easy! -Denise find me at inmyblueroom .blogspot.com
