Gather your supplies.
Pick out your first color. I'm using white so you can see clearly where the beginning is, and how to attach it to the tail at the end.
Loop one end over a peg on your Rainbow Loom, and stretch it sideways towards another peg.
Before you put the loop on the second peg, twist the band once so it forms a cross in the center. It should look like a sideways 8 or infinity symbol.
Pick out your next color. I chose pink.
Loop the band over the first peg and stretch it towards the second peg, the same two pegs you used for the first band.
Don't twist this one! Just leave it in an O shape.
Add a third color (I chose orange). Make sure to keep the bands in order. The bottom, middle, and top bands should not cross over one another.
With your hook, loop your first color band on the peg. Stretch it out a little. Make sure you only have that one band on your hook.
Holding it securely, pull the band up and over the other colors. Keep a good grasp on it and guide it like in the next photo.
Holding it securely in your hook, pull the band up and over the other colors and pull it off the peg, towards the center.
Let it go! It should look like this. Now the other side...
Grab the first color on the other peg.
Stretch it out a little to make sure you only have the first color.
Bring it up and over.
And let it off your hook.
Your first step is done! Congrats! Now push the other bands down the pegs but make sure the second color is not crossing the third color or vice versa.
Add your next color. I chose yellow. (:
Grab your lowest color on the pegs (pink) and do the same as you did with the white bands. Grasp it and pull it out.
Pull it up and over.
Let it go.
On the other side, grab the pink band and stretch it out.
Add your next color. Green!
Pull the orange band over and let it go into the middle, one peg at a time.
Add the next band (blue).
And pull the yellows over, one peg at a time.
I did a violet one and pulled the green over, and then I did another round, starting with pink and ending with violet.
Seven rounds! Almost there!
Nine rounds completes it! You can do more or less depending on your wrist size. I like my bracelets a bit bigger so they can stack higher without cutting off my circulation.
This is where we end! See there are only two bands left on the pegs? Blue and violet.
Take your blue band and grasp it, pull it out.
Pull it over the violet.
Do the other side.
Pull it over.
Take a C clip or S clip.
Hook the two remaining violet loops on the pegs into your clip. Put both of the violet loops on one side of the S or C. You'll need the other side for your beginning part of the bracelet.
Both violet loops on one side!
Remember the white loop at the beginning? Here's where you use it again! The two little loops you see sticking out will go on the other side of the S or C clip.
Hooked on and ready to wear!
