by Mane Attraction Salon

Mane Attraction SF's Dustin Aguilar knows braiding is "knot" easy for everyone to recreate at home. Here he shows a simple braided look that won't have leave you tied up for long yet looks like it took an hour.

Supplies

  • Texturizing spray
  • Hair spray
  • Bobby pins
  • Elastic bands
  • Instructions

    Step 1

Here are the supplies you'll need. A good texturizing spray, bobbies, and elastic bands. This is a great look for second-day hair

    Step 2

First, spray hair with a texturizing spray to make it easier to work with. Then let the hair part and fall naturally. Gather hair into two ponies, letting some front pieces fall out to frame the face

    Step 3

    Secure with two elastic bands

    Step 4

Divide one pony into two sections

    Step 5

    Tie into a simple knot

    Step 6

Knot the hair as many times as the length allows. Here we knotted twice. Secure the base with another elastic band.

    Step 7

    Repeat on the other side

    Step 8

    Step 9

Take one knot pony and twist it into a bun. Secure it with bobby pins.

    Step 10

Twist the other knot pony around the bun and secure it with bobbies.

    Step 11

    That's it!

    Step 12

A simple, beautiful way to do your hair. This takes about 3 minutes but looks like it took an hour!

    Step 13

It's a great way to rewear hair from the night before, or throw your hair up before work.
