How to Make Alternative for Whey Protein/Protein Powder

Here is a healthy (cheap!) alternative to artificial proteins.

Supplies

  • ⅓ Cups Steel Cut Oats
  • ⅓ Cups Brown Rice
  • 1 Cup Green Lentils
  • optional cocoa powder or vanilla bean
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Here is a recipe for homemade protein powder for little money as well.

    Step 2

    Here are the green lentils, brown rice and steel cut oats.

    Step 3

    Step 1: Blend into a fine powder using a coffee grinder or whatever else you think would work. (poor mans way:/) heheh

    Step 4

    This is the texture you will want.

    Step 5

    There are different flavour variations you can try, like vanilla or chocolate.

    Step 6

    Chocolate: Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder for every 1/3 cup

    Step 7

    Vanilla: Add half a vanilla bean per 1/3 cup.
