How to Make Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 340 Grams butter
  • 94 Grams powdered sugar
  • 375 Grams flour
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ Teaspoons salt
  • 100 Grams ground almonds
  • 200 Grams chocolate chips
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Mix butter and powdered sugar together in a mixer.

    Step 2

    Then add chocolate chips, salt, vanilla.

    Step 3

    Add flour gradually.

    Step 4

    Add ground almonds.

    Step 5

    I find it better to store the cookie mixture in the fridge for a little while before baking (30-60 mins.) just to thicken/harden the creamy texture.

    Step 6

    Shape into small balls using your hands or a small ice-cream scooper, and place them on a baking tray.

    Step 7

    Bake at 180c for about 10-12 minutes, until golden.

    Step 8

    Let them cool on a cooling rack and... Voila! Almond chocolate chip cookies 🍪
