How to Make a Spicy Salmon With Bulgur Salad

A fairly easy dish to make with lovely flavors, use what veggies you have at home.

Supplies

  • 600 Grams Salmon
  • ½ Teaspoons Chili flakes
  • ½ Teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom
  • 2 Teaspoons Cumin
  • 200 Milliliters Bulgur
  • 250 Milliliters Broth (water + stock cube)
  • 12 Dried apricots
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 3 Tomatoes (or 12 cherry tomatoes)
  • 100 Milliliters Raisins
  • Olive oil
  • 100 Milliliters Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons Tapenade
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Pinch Black pepper
  • 1 Pinch Garlic clove
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Mix cumin, chili flakes, black pepper and ground cardamon.

    Step 2

    Put the salmon fillets on a plate and season with the mix.

    Step 3

    Like so. Do it on both sides.

    Step 4

    Fry the zucchini with some olive oil, chopped garlic and some dried thyme.

    Step 5

    Set aside.

    Step 6

    Chop the tomatoes and apricots.

    Step 7

    Broil the salmon in a skillet, you don't need any oil or butter. Give the fillets some colour and then move it to an oven pan. Cook at 200 degrees C for about 5 minutes.

    Step 8

    Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.

    Step 9

    Mix tapenade with yogurt.

    Step 10

    Stir and add black pepper and salt.

    Step 11

    Boil bulgur according to the instructions on the package. When ready...

    Add tomatoes...

    Step 13

    ..fried zucchini..

    Step 14

    Sliced apricots..

    Step 15

    And raisins. Stir.

    Step 16

    Serve the bulgur with the salmon and the tapenade yogurt.
