Here are the ingredients you should have.
The first layer of your taco dip will consist of Sour Cream and Cream Cheese. Remove the contents of the packages. Then, combine the two ingredients. Do not mix the ingredients just yet.
Before mixing your Sour cream and Cream cheese. Be sure to add all of the Taco seasoning in with the Cream cheese and Sour cream.
You can use a whisk to blend the three ingredients, but it's much easier to blend it with a mallet of some kind. As shown in the video keep mixing it until the mixture has a soft consistency.
Your mixture if blended properly, should have a consistency similar to the consistency shown above. If it looks any chunkier continue mixing until it's smooth.
Then, take a medium sized clear bowl. Add both cans of Hormel chill as your base layer. Then, spread it throughout the bowl using a spatula.
After you have your first layer of Hormel chili. Add your Cream mixture as the second layer. Again spreading it around with a spatula.
Open your can of the salsa of your choosing ( I used mild Tostitos). Then thoroughly spread the salsa evenly as your third layer.
Next, open the can of your black olives. If they aren't pitted be sure to remove the centers(pits). If they are pitted already proceed to slice them into circular shapes. Set aside in a bowl.
Begin preparing your vegetables starting with the green pepper. If you are inexperienced on cutting peppers. Watch the video above for instructions. You want them to be chopped into about 1" pieces.
Begin dicing two of your tomatoes, if you are unsure how to dice tomatoes see the video above.
Add a layer of cheese atop your salsa layer.
Try to cut your scallions at an angle for a more impressive look to the finished dish.
Cut your head of lettuce into small pieces, then set aside.
Add a layer of your lettuce, followed by a topping of tomatoes. After adding your tomatoes, add the green peppers.
Then add another layer of cheese atop your vegetables.
Add the black olives you sliced earlier. Spread them evenly throughout your cheese layer.
Then add your sliced scallions and you've completed your taco dip! Serve with chips and enjoy.
