How to Make a Sardine Sandwich

A delicious mediterranean sandwich that will brighten up anyone's meal.

Supplies

  • 3 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Slices of bread
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • 1 Sardines (Tin)
  • Onion (Thinly Sliced)
  • Feta cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic sauce (see recipe on profile)
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Butter both sides of two slices of bread.

    Step 2

    Toast bread until golden brown.

    Step 3

    Golden brown.

    Step 4

    Place bread on a paper towel.

    Step 5

    Make vinaigrette using olive oil and lemon juice, with salt and pepper to taste.

    Step 6

    Place ingredients in a jar and shake.

    Step 7

    Generously spread vinaigrette on one slice of bread.

    Step 8

    On the other slice of bread, spread a small amount of garlic sauce.

    Step 9

    Place tomato on the bread with the vinaigrette. (I forgot to buy tomato so I used sundries tomato). Put salt and pepper on top to taste.

    Step 10

    Shred lettuce.

    Step 11

    Place lettuce on top.

    Step 12

    And onions.

    Step 13

    Open sardine can. Note: you can substitute sardines for tuna or any other fish.

    Step 14

    Place sardines on top.

    Step 15

    Sprinkle feta cheese on top.

    Step 16

    Close the sandwich.

    Step 17

    Place on plate.

    Step 18

    Serve.
