How to Make a Radish Fan

This is how to make a cute, red radish fan to garnish a main course of chicken or whatever you desire.

Supplies

  • 1 Radish
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Bowl
  • 4 Ice cubes/pieces
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather radish, knife, and cutting board.

    Step 2

    Wash radish in cold water.

    Step 3

    Cut off tips of top and bottom with a knife, then discard tips.

    Step 4

    Cut ⅛-inch-thick slices across, about three-quarters of the way into the radish. Do NOT cut all the way through the radish.

    Step 5

    Put radish into ice water.

    Step 6

    Chill for several hours or until radish fans out, remove, drain well, then garnish as desired.
