How to Make a Quilt From Old Shirts and Scraps

  • Fabric scraps
  • Cotton
  • Bows
  • Needle

  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Find old clothes or shirts that you can use. When picking fabric remember cotton stretches.

    Step 2

    Next find old scraps like sheets fabric that you used previously for another sewing project.

    Step 3

    Once you have picked your fabrics cut them into even squares

    Step 4

    Free the squares are cut out pick a design before you see them into rows

    Step 5

    Sew the squares into rows using the seem allowance you planned for.

    Step 6

    Sew each row together into one product

    Step 7

    Then choose the fabric you want to use for the back of the quilt

    Step 8

    Once you choose fabric cut the size cotton you need to go in the center

    Step 9

    Then stitch between the ditch and see your edges

    Step 10

    Then if you choose add bows

    Step 11

    Finally you have your finished quilt to take home
