Start by laying your canvas face down on top of the fabric you have chosen. Trim around the canvas, leaving 2 extra inches on each side.
While being extra careful, use the staple gun to put 3-4 staples on each side, pulling the fabric tight before each staple. Make sure you staple onto the wood part of the canvas!
Using the ribbon of your choice, cut enough ribbon to make an "X" in the middle of the canvas, leaving 2 extra inches on each end!
Use the staple gun to hold the ribbon in place on the back of your canvas. Make sure to pull the ribbon tight before stapling.
Using 2 more pieces of ribbon, follow the instructions on step 4!
Add 2 more pieces of ribbon, and follow the instructions on step 4.
After all 6 pieces of ribbon have been placed and stapled, this is what the back should look like!
Next, hot glue where the ribbon cross each other to the fabric, and then hot glue each of the pieces of ribbon together.
Using an accessory of your choice, (I used Spare Part flowers from Hobby Lobby!) hot glue it on the very center of your photo board!
Using another accessory of your choice (I used buttons) hot glue them where each of the ribbons cross (I didn't place a button in the center!)
For extra decorations, place another piece of ribbon on the back, making sure to enough to hang from the wall! This just gives your photo board a little more "something" :)
The back of your photo board should look simpler to this!
The front of your finished project! :)
