How to Make a Marinara and a Margherita Pizza

I visited Anthony Mangieri at Una Pizza Napoletana and got a demo in how he shapes his dough and prepares his Marinara and Margherita pizzas.

Supplies

  • Flour
  • Dough
  • Sauce
  • Basil
  • Garlic
  • Sea salt
  • Oregano
  • Mozzarella
  • Basil
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Flour the counter top.

    Step 2

    Get your dough ready.

    Step 3

    Shape the dough.

    Step 4

    Add the sauce. The Marinara gets more sauce, the Margherita gets less.

    Step 5

    Add the cheese to the Margherita.

    Step 6

    Add the toppings. The Marinara gets sea salt, garlic, oregano, and basil. The Margherita gets sea salt, cheese and basil.

    Step 7

    Add extra virgin olive oil.

    Step 8

    Put the pies in the oven.

    Step 9

    Let them cook at high heat.
