How to Make a Fruit Sponge Cake

Supplies

  • Any kind of fruit will do
  • 9 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • 1 Cup Cake flour
  • ⅓ Cups Sugar
  • ⅓ Cups Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cream of tarter
  • Nonstick spray
  • 1 Cream cheese
  • ⅓ Cups Powder sugar
  • 16 Ounces Large whip cream
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

    Step 2

    Separate whites from yolks into two bowls

    Step 3

    Whites: blend with mixer until white and fluffy. Add 1/3 cup of sugar. Then add 1 tsp cream of tarter. Mix again for 1 minute.

    Step 4

    Yolks: add cake flour, 1/3 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of oil. Mix well until the batter is smooth.

    Step 5

    Add the yolk batter to the whites. Fold the batter until well blend. *Do not stir

    Step 6

    Spray the non-stick spray onto the baking pan. Pour the batter onto two baking pans or cake pans. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Let the cake cool.

    Step 7

    Frosting: mix the cream cheese with a mixer in a bowl until it's smooth. Add powder sugar and mix. Slowly add whip cream and mix well.

    Step 8

    Slice the fruits that you picked out for this cake.

    Step 9

    Take the first layer of the cake and add whip cream on top. Then add the fruits. Put the other layer of the cake and do the same.

    Step 10

    Then your done
