Here are all the measurements you need to draw the cube.
Tools needed: ruler, pencil, scissors, marker, poster board (28 x 22), and tape.
Measure 8 3/4 inches from the top of the poster board lengthwise. Draw line from one end of poster board to the other.
Draw second line using the same measurements as previous line.
Reference handout shown
Start with the right edge of the poster board and measure and mark 7 inches. Continue until you have drawn 4 boxes 8 3/4 x 7 inches each. Add a box to the top line as shown on the handout.
Remember to measure and mark carefully.
Measure 3 1/2 inches to mark the center point.
Measure down from the center point 3 1/2 inches. Draw a little dot to mark the spot.
Refer to the handout if you need further clarification.
Connect the corners of the boxes with the bottom mark to form a triangle shape. These will be the bottom flaps of the cube.
Continue measuring and drawing the triangles.
Poster board should look like this!
Cut out the cube and fold along the drawn lines to form the cube. Tape the bottom flaps together. Then tape the side and fold the top lid edge to form a small flap.
