Have you ever wanted to make cool Christmas decorations but just thought you weren't artistic enough? Here is a simple guide to making a three dimensional snowflake out of paper using these materials!
To begin, fold a piece of paper into a triangle and cut off any remaining paper sticking out, as shown in the video. Repeat this with each piece of paper.
Now, take a paper triangle and fold it in half into a smaller paper triangle. Repeat this with each piece of paper.
Make three cuts into one side of each triangle. You should not cut all the way through the triangles. Instead, stop cutting about 1 1/2 inches from the end of the paper.
Now you can unfold your triangles. They should look like this picture.
Using the clear tape, tape together the inner flaps of each piece of paper.
Flip the paper over and tape the next two flaps together on this side. As with the previous steps, you will do this to each piece of paper.
Continue alternating between sides to tape flaps together until they all have been taped. The papers should look like this when this step is finished.
You can now take your stapler and staple the papers to each other from the bottom and middle.
Attach the remaining pieces of paper to the bottoms of the the first two which are already stapled, and the middle section of the previously attached piece where one side hasn't been stapled yet.
When adding the final piece, make sure to staple the middle sections to both the previous piece and the first piece. It is important to do this to make sure the snowflake stays together.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your own three dimensional snowflake! Thank you for using my guide, and I hope you had fun making your own snowflake.
