How to Improve Sleep Quality

10 Easy to follow steps on how to improve overall sleep quality.


Step 1

1. Create a simple, easy to follow sleep schedule.

Step 2

Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.

Step 3

Exercise at least 60 minutes a day.

Step 4

Don’t eat sugary food before bed. Focus on whole foods.

Step 5

Plan out the following day before going to sleep to avoid extra stress.

Step 6

Shower at night instead of in the morning.

Step 7

Get rid of screens 30 minutes prior to sleeping.

Step 8

Find what puts you to sleep; reading, meditation, prayer etc.

Step 9

Find your preferred sleeping position.

Step 10

Place the thermostat at around 67-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
