The best way to get a setup to the ball for putting is to start with the width of the stance. Width of the stance must be at least shoulder width apart.
Next you bend your knees so that your leg muscles activates. Feel your thigh with your hand to notice when the thigh muscle activates.
Now bend your upper body from your hip with your spine as straight as possible. Stop bending forward when your weight balances on the balls of your feet.
Drop your hands down and with totally relaxed arms dangling in front of you.
At this moment you clap your hands together. Here will you grip your putter by its grip. Remember this position! Because its your perfect setup for your body for putting.
If your hands grips the putter below the putter grip, then you need to cut your putter to proper length and reinstall your grip. The guide for cutting your putter shaft you can find in my library.
