Cut the peel off the lemon and chop into chunks.
Cut the peel off the oranges and chop into chunks.
Put the lemon and oranges into a blender (if you don't have a blender you can extract the juice with a juicer).
Blend til it's smooth like so and pour into a saucepan.
Add the honey (or maple syrup if you can't have honey like me!).
Add a shot of whiskey and warm on a medium to low heat.
After about 5-7 minutes it should just gently bubble and reduce to about 3 quarters of the original liquid amount. That's when it's ready. Be careful not to boil.
Get a strainer or sieve and put it over a mug.
Pour the liquid through the strainer. I usually grab a spoon to press more juice out of the pulp.
Ready to drink and help get rid of that cold!
