Using a sheet of chipboard, cut your large tag. I decided to make mine 4.5" x 9"
I covered with paper and then gave a coat of clear gesso in order to prep the surface for your sprays and paints.
Using your texture paste mix some with craft sand from the dollar store.
Apply your paste and sand mixture to your chipboard pieces. Allow to dry.
Using the Bubble stencil from Art Anthology I randomly added it to the tag as well as added more paste with sand to my other chipboard pieces. Allow to dry.
Start your spraying, I always like to spray in between adding colors as they stay much more vibrant and won't bleed into each other.
The sandcastle I sprayed on Warm and Sandcastle Colorations spray . Don't you love the texture the paste and sand provides.
The fishnet chipboard I left raw added the paste and sand and then dripped Minx Ink in Gold Dust over the top for a pretty shimmer.
The flower I sprayed with my sprays and then topped it with Fairy Dust in Gilded Gold.
Get our your Mud Texture paste again and added sea shells, clear seed beads and gob in on your project here and there. Then sprinkle different sizes of art stones for more texture.
When the gel starts to dry the seed beads show through like little bubbles.
Take a dry brush and add light coat of white gesso to high parts on your tag to lighten.
Here is more dry brushing with the gesso.
Hope you enjoyed this project. Adding texture to your chipboard pieces is so much fun. Tags are a great way to be able to create something quickly.
Wishing you a summer filled with creativity !!!
