I am quite fond of my freezer. I have a wonderful relationship with it. It takes care of me when I'm feeling under the weather or when I am on the run and have no time to gather a meal for my family.
I am going to share a fool proof method I have been using for freezing my meals. Oh? you don't freeze meals? Well I am going to convert you today(maybe)😜
Take a container any shape, any size. Hey,you don't have to go crazy trying to find these, if you have any pans that can go in the freezer, please feel free to use them. That alone is a money saver.
I just happened to have these in my pantry so i will go ahead and use them. Well, let's start by lining the pan with foil. I didn't do such a good job, Ugh😱😫ill have to fix it.Make sure you do,ok??😄
Add your uncooked meal into the pan. It has be uncooked. Please remember that. When you are ready to use it, the meal will go straight to the oven and get all cooked up😀
Now let's put it in the freezer, make sure to cover it. I'm making sure it's nicely covered. I don't want freezer burn. Yuck😑
Wow it is now frozen, time for next step. Uncover the dish and lift the foil out of the pan you used. Now you can take whatever pan you used and reuse it for another recipe.😁
Option 1-After you have removed the frozen meal out of the pan you can place it in a freezer bag. I like glad and ziplock. Label and date the bag. Remove as much air as you can from the bag.
The freezer bag method keeps food good for 3-4 months, not past 6 months.
Opt. 2-Take out the handy dandy food saver & suck the air out of the ice free bag, that has your meal in it of course. I prefer this method although the first on is just as good, but not as durable.
You see it sticks to the meal and sucks out all the air out of the bags. No need to suck the air out with a straw. 😛😜 I have meals that lasted well over a year in these bags. Love them🙌
Thanks for watching. I hope you learned a thing or two. How do you freeze your meals? Please share I would love to know. Plus, sharing is caring 😜😜
